Marriage with the City of Lyon

Each Beaujolais Cru has been ‘married’ to one of Lyon’s 9 arrondissements or districts since 2010.

Cru Juliénas is 'married' to the 4th arrondissement of Lyon

The aim of this union is to create ties between our vineyard and the City of Lyon. The term ‘marriage’ is used to officialise the relationship. Events are held throughout the year to promote the Beaujolais region as part of this marriage between the Crus and the arrondissements.
